When I got out of dental school I, like so many, talked to a CPA buddy about helping me with my accounting needs. He was, and still is today, considered one of the top CPAs in our area. He kept our books, and made sure all of our government forms were returned on time. I really had no complaints. But later I was introduced to Coleman and Ureda and I sensed that maybe I would benefit from making a change. It was an extremely hard decision since my current CPA was a patient and a good friend. He had a few other dentists as clients, but didn’t have the wealth of data that Rob and Sue had access to. So about 15 years ago I made the difficult decision to switch. The reports that I receive each month comparing my practice to national norms have been eye opening. I have a much better understanding of the financial part of my practice than I ever did. It is hard for me to understand why all dentists in the Carolinas are not taking advantage of Coleman and Ureda. My end result was a much clearer understanding of my practice financials, paying less per month for services, and my old accountant is still a great friend and patient.
